Firearm Safety Courses

Hamon Safety Consultants offers RCMP-certified Firearm Safety Courses to ensure responsible, knowledgeable, and legal firearm ownership and use. Our courses are led by an experienced instructor and meet all regulatory requirements for safe handling, storage, and transportation of firearms.

Courses Offered:
Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC)
Required for individuals seeking a Non-Restricted Firearms License (PAL). Covers basic firearm safety practices, legal responsibilities, and handling of non-restricted firearms (e.g., most hunting rifles and shotguns).

Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC)
Required for individuals seeking a Restricted Firearms License (RPAL). Includes everything from the CFSC, with additional instruction specific to restricted firearms (e.g., handguns).

NOTE: Currently, all handguns are under a national ban and cannot be acquired, used, or transferred. The Course is still available, but be aware that until a change in the laws, successful students will have a license they cannot use.
